Hello Everyone,
Ok so I'm going to try my hand at this blogging thing. Certainly this is a topic I'm quite passionate about so this should be enough to have something thoughtful to say. -- A little about me. I am a resident of West Montrose -- have been ever since I married my husband back in 2004. We were married down at the bridge and then had our reception up the river at our home property. We now have 3 children 10, 4 and 2. My husband gloriously inherited my big son. If I can find a good picture I'll post from that day.
We are quite concerned about the potential of this pit coming through. It's going to be huge! There are several implications-- this is not a "NIMBY" issue. Our first concern is the environment...wildlife, plant life, water etc...next is the serenity and peace we have coming home to this area. Our last concern is the farmland and people's way of doing life here.
